My Students

I teach a second grade bilingual class in an urban school. All of my students are from immigrant families and most live in single occupancy rooms. My students love to learn and they work hard to stay focused in school. It warms my heart to see how attentive they are in class and how much they love being in school learning together.

To maximize the space in the classroom, students are sitting further away from me.

I noticed that my students have trouble hearing me because I am unable to project my voice to reach every corner, and they're not getting much visual cues with my mask on. And when they try to participate, it's hard to hear them because their voices are so soft.

My classroom needs a sound system that will provide clear sound for a full day to make sure my students can hear me and we can hear each other so that I don't have to waste valuable time repeating when I teach.

My Project

My students are motivated to learn and have adapted to the new learning routines with masks on and keeping a distance from each other. But it's a challenge to stayed focused if they can't hear me clearly. And students feel discouraged to participate because they can't project their voices loud enough for the others to hear them.

With these wireless voice amplifier and microphone speaker small sound systems, I can clearly project my voice to every corner of the classroom and I don't need to repeat what my students say when they take part in the classroom discussions.

I'm sure my students will enjoy and become active in participation when they find out how effortless it is for them to be heard!
