Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Here we are, the beginning of another new school year with a new group of energized 1st graders. My students are bright eyed and eager to learn. Every day is a new adventure in our classroom.
They have lots to learn and so much to discover, lots of work is ahead of us, but with the right tools they can succeed.
I have the motivation to help build great readers, critical thinkers, and good citizens. I am just in need of some wonderful resources to aid me in this quest.
My Project
My students are eager to learn, but sometimes can have a difficult time focusing. They have lots of wiggles and along with the wiggles comes lots of distraction.
They need wobble chairs and wobble cushions to help them release some energy.
I will use these chairs during our small group time, so that students can wiggle and still be able to focus at the same time. I will use the wobble cushions for students who need to release energy throughout our busy day.
These chairs will allow my students to focus on their learning, while letting them be active children too.
