This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been so incredibly impacted by COVID-19. So many of my students struggle with even just sitting at a desk. Having another option for students, like wobble stools, will help my amazing kiddos still be able to move around while also building their academic stamina. Having used wobble stools in the past, I’ve seen first-hand the benefit this type of flexible seating can have on young people. They’re able to move around and wiggle at their seats without the fear of breaking a standard chair that isn’t meant for that kind of movement. My students would benefit so much from a flexible seating option!
