My Students

My students have yet to master storytelling skills. They need to be able to tell their stories!

My first grade class is comprised of twenty-two, first grade students from Southeastern Kentucky.

There is an equal mix of boys to girls who love to read and be read to. They are enthusiastic, bright, and motivated learners who need an opportunity to tell their stories.

My Project

The Lakeshore Storytelling Kit is an excellent teaching tool because the stories within will ignite student interest, help students create vivid mental images, and activate the thinking process. This helps students better understand and recall information. These materials will get them TALKING and LEARNING.

My students have a love of stories, and as result there is such magic and wonder in their eyes when they are listening to stories or reading stories themselves.

Let's take it to the next level by providing them with the books and props and allow them to tell THEIR stories.
