My Students
My students are creative, hard working, and always eager to learn. The majority of students in my school come from lower income families; however they don't let their misfortune keep them from getting the most from school.
Students in my class are excited to take control of their learning, and when given the opportunity, they soar.
They learn technology quickly, and are able to discover new things on their own through exploration. Many times, it's me learning from my students.
My Project
In the coming school year I would like to focus on technology. I would like to have a learning center with iPads and learning games.
iPads will provide students with many fun learning opportunities.
One of the games that I’d like to incorporate is Osmo, which can only be run on an iPad. Having the iPad technology will give my students a fun way to learn so many different skills. Students can work alone or with partners. The iPads can be used as a lesson extender for fast finishers or as an extra intervention for struggling students!
The kids will be excited about using them and before long they will be completly running the technology.
