Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are preparing to return to school in late February to finish out the year. Because of Covid we have change the way we are teaching our students. We need more hands on materials to make learning to read fun being in the virtual space.

We need materials that will focus on pre-reading skills for early learners.

My Project

My Pre-K students are just learning how to read. The following items I am requesting will help with pre-reading skills. While we are teaching remote and virtual learners when we return in January 2021.

We will need hands-on materials to make reading fun for our young scholars who are just starting to read.

Teaching in a low-income area I try to provide my students with lots of ways to build their interests in pre-reading skills to become awesome readers. Having the following items like sight word puzzles and sight word seashell games will be awesome resources for our young scholars.
