Help me give my students a Chromebook charging station and a document camera.
This project expired on February 20, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students attend a Title I, Math-Science-Technology magnet school where students are engaged in Project-Based Learning and STEM opportunities. I teach a diverse group of students who come from many backgrounds. Many of my students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Although I teach 6th grade, my students range from low level special education students to higher level advanced place students.
Despite their educational levels and backgrounds, my students want to learn and experience new things.
My students are eager to begin integrating more technology into their daily projects and lessons. I want to give my students the experiences they are looking for more efficiently.
My students are diverse and technological learners and were given access to a class set of Chromebooks to benefit them as they work to become emerging innovators and effective communicators. The students are enjoying getting to use the technology. However, we lack the proper means to store and charge them safely and securely. Since my students will be using them frequently, having them charged and ready for use is necessary for the success of our classroom.
Please help support my students by donating, so that they have a safe and secure way to organize their Chromebooks!
This will help students be responsible and take pride in the equipment they get to use each day.
Furthermore, as a science and math teacher, I have to demonstrate many concepts and activities to my students. Being able to show the full demonstration as a whole class will help make my class more efficient as students are on their way to become college and career ready!
