My students need different options to sit besides traditional chairs and desks. Offering them the option of wobble chairs, bean bags and soft seats will allow them them those options.

My Students

I am a teacher in a rural school of 20 awesome Second Grade students. Being from a small school has not impacted my students desire to be successful. They want to learn, read and grow every day they are at school. I want to teach them to make good choices in their lives that will help them learn to their potential.

We spend more time at school than at home, I want my classroom to be a home away from home!

My Project

I am requesting different seating options for my students. Right now we have traditional desks and chairs. Sitting in them for any length of time can cause them to be uncomfortable. We all know if we are uncomfortable, we are not paying attention.

If my students had wobble chairs, bean bags and soft seats, they can start to think about how they learn best.

They will pay more attention to me and the material instead of how uncomfortable they are. They can make the choice for themselves about what works for them to learn and be successful students. These options are child friendly and safe!
