My Students

Meet my second grade! A fun, kind, smart group of curious kids! This amazing group of students is so interested in learning about the world around them! We love hands-on activities that enhance our love of learning!

What better way to learn than through real life experiences that we can grow, watch, and touch.

I am requesting help to buy the AeroGarden Bounty indoor garden to help my students experience getting their hands dirty planting, growing, and then enjoying fruits and vegetables that they will grow themselves.

My Project

The AeroGarden will further enhance our study the relation of how we use and consume plants and the subject of horticulture. Learning the importance of how healthy foods can be grown and the stages of how plants grow will help foster lifelong skills and healthy habits.

The AeroGarden grow anything kit will allow the students to individually choose a vegetable or plant that they are interested in and will provide a truly unique and individualized hands-on learning experience.

The AeroGarden can be used again and again. Many other classes will benefit from this resource. We can transfer our plants into a school wide garden, a science lab, or send home the plant they chose with the student to continue their growth and learning of horticulture.
