My Students

My students are a wonderful group of First Graders! They love learning, and they love coming to school. Most of my students come from low income homes, and they don't always have the academic support at home. They come to school every morning ready to start the day and learn new things. My first grade students are very excited about this school year, and I want to make sure they have the best materials. It is exciting to see how much they learn and grow as the year progresses!

My Project

These seat sacks will be a great addition to our classroom and will help greatly with student organization. We recently switched from desks to tables, so students need a place where they can keep their own belongings. They will use these seat sacks to store their everyday supplies, so that they can keep their materials close by. These will help my first graders to stay organized and learn to take care of their own belongings. Currently materials are stored on a basket in the center of the table, so these seat sacks will help us to de-clutter and better manage our supplies.
