Help me give my students an organized functional space that is conducive to learning. Storage bins, supply caddies, and book boxes will help us stay organized. Whiteboards, clipboards, and stools will allow us to sit flexibly!
Our school provides a safe and nurturing space for a culturally, linguistically, and socioeconomically diverse population of students. Every day our students and staff engage in a dialogue about being responsible, respectful, safe, and productive. These are the guiding values in our community of learners.
My students are eager and enthusiastic about learning and applying new skills, exploring new topics, and thinking both critically and creatively.
My third-graders are team oriented and view failure as an opportunity to learn and overcome.
My Project
After five years I am making the transition from Kindergarten into a third grade classroom. As you can imagine, the materials I have gathered over the years are not quite age appropriate for third graders. I am hoping to create a space for my new students that is organized, functional, and conducive to learning.
It is my sincere hope that with the addition of personal whiteboards, clipboards, and stools, that my students will be able to learn flexibly throughout the classroom.
I believe that these organizational and learning materials will engage my students and help them focus on learning new skills.
