My Project
After attending the Get Your Teach On National Conference last year, I knew right away that I would love to come back for more! I am always looking for ways to increase student engagement and this conference has given me so many new ideas. Get Your Teach On's website describes the conference as "your all-access pass to creating magic in your classroom" and that's exactly how I felt after attending last time.
I know that the Get Your Teach On experience is like no other professional development and I am ready for more ideas!
This time around, there are all new sessions and presenters. I left the conference last time feeling so motivated and empowered and I know that I could have that same experience again and leave with even more new ideas. I want my students to feel the same inspiration that I did. Some of the new sessions I will attend include Reading Power, Science Mash, Social Studies & Culture, Villainous Vocabulary, Building a Superstar Classroom Community, Math Super Solvers, Technology is Your Jam, MARVELous Writers, and Collaborative STEMagination!
Get Your Teach On not only provides ideas for engagement, but also for specific instructional practices that are directly aligned to our standards. My goal is to create even more opportunities to add rigor and challenges for my students through this conference's sessions.
