My 4th-grade elementary students are amazing. Their dynamic personalities and learning need to make teaching fun, unpredictable, and engaging. They command a high level of cognitive engagement, which surpasses lecturing or watching a demonstration. These tech-savvy learners keep me on my toes by requiring the best of me! I love it!
How do we support and promote engaging learning to teach our 21st-century students?
We currently use Chromebooks at our school to integrate educational applications into our curriculum. To ensure that I am utilizing technology and other engaging lessons to effectively complement my instructional strategies and my students' learning needs, I attend the ongoing training that discusses technology integration and math problem-solving strategies. This allows me to meet the expectations and requirements for the most up-to-date lessons.
My Project
I am requesting professional development that will help me provide engaging and meaningful lessons to my students. My goal is to have students lose the stigma that math is hard. My class is a safe environment where everyone can feel comfortable learning math and I want my students to enjoy math and look forward to learning.
Get your teach on will allow me to learn new methods that excite my students and inspire them to participate fully in my lessons.
Learning from experts in my grade level will allow me to further my education and let me become a more inspiring teacher to my students.
