I need registration to the Get Your Teach On Conference in January of 2020. This conference is all about student engagement. It will help me grow as an educator and bring new strategies back!

My Students

The students of my room are enthusiastic about learning. They come to school each day ready to engage in a variety of tasks and learning experiences. These students are fifth graders. They are becoming their own individuals while still enjoying life from a childlike perspective.

Engagement is a crucial element for my students to be successful in the classroom.

Before they can learn, they must be seen and loved. Their interests and passions must be accounted for. I hope to create a learning environment where students are excited to participate and meet challenges with a willingness to step out of their comfort zones. This is where powerful growth takes place.

My Project

This conference is all about engagement. It will help me become aware of new and powerful strategies that support student engagement for all learners. This is a chance to connect with other educators and learn in a way that we know is best for our students...so we should learn that way as adults!

I am excited to collaborate and think critically about my practice in order to better my instruction.

I am also excited to be encouraged in what I am already doing in my classroom. I hope that this conference will support numerous students and their success down the road.
