My Students

My students are very dynamic, curious, intellectuals. They are constantly seeking the why behind what they are learning, they take control of their education and seek to make daily improvements. These bright students do not always come packaged like the perfect student, but they are very talented and capable of learning and meeting any challenge set before them. I often times find myself being encouraged just by their unwillingness to give up or quit. They are the reason why I get up and come to work despite how I feel. They are the best and thus deserve the best in me.

My Project

For the exciting conference, I need the conference registration fee, lodging, food and transportation expenses covered since I will be traveling from out of town. During the conference, we will be learning about engaging our students and making our classroom more inviting for our students. I will be using my personal vehicle to travel and therefore will be needing money to cover gas and for food. This conference will no doubt be life changing for both my students and myself. All of the knowledge that I receive during the conference will go towards helping my students engage with the math and make it their own.
