Getting Great Readers through Gaming

Help me give my students an interactive way to learn the basic skills needed to become successful readers. They need hot dots, learning cards, and books.

My Project

I am an EL teacher in one of the most diverse school districts in not only the state but the country. The students I service speak more than one language and are working on becoming more proficient in English. Many of them do not speak English in their homes and may not have access to English reading materials to practice outside of school. This is why we need to make the most of every minute we have at school with them each day. Every day we work on listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. These interactive tools will help raise engagement and interest in learning the basic skills that are required to become a fluent and successful reader. Often times when you present a topic as a game or allow them to earn the "game time" their focus and enthusiasm increase. Thanks in advance for considering a donation to this project.
