Getting Focused and Flexible in English Language Arts

My students need flexible seating options to improve focus and academic performance. I have a wide range of accommodations to be met in an upbeat middle school inclusive classroom environment.

My Students

My high energy middle school students need flexible seating in the classroom! This will allow the students to focus, release energy, and fulfill their highest academic goals. My students walk into our classroom every day full of life and I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

I teach at a public charter school in Florida.

Many of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of my students also receive backpack food donations. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best.

My Project

In my classroom, we practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking, through whole group work and cooperative learning strategies.

The addition of flexible seating would give my students the much needed boost of focus they need.

Overcoming some of the learning obstacles they face will help them acquire the skills to conquer the challenges of higher education and the workplace.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. I can not wait to see the smiles on their faces the day they walk in and see the new additions to their classroom.
