Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, we have begun a very intense reading curriculum that has been exposing my students to topics that they have never learned about before. In order to make this curriculum relatable to my students, I have been incorporating art projects to be able to show their learning. My students do not get to be creative in an artistic way at home so school is a place where they can let that shine. These extra supplies (paints, markers, colored pencils) will allow me to be able to plan and have students create even more artistic project to showcase all of their learning and have some fun in the process!
