Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach an amazing group of students. From what I have seen this year, my students are craving the ability to be creative. They want to explore their surrounding an create their own life experiences.
I teach a mixture of students.
I have special education student along with general education students and ESL students. I have students with many different needs and ability levels. The school is a Title I schools and considered to have a high poverty level.
My Project
My students are seeking to be more creative. With the supplies I am requesting, my students have the opportunity to learn Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies with Art. Students will be able to use the materials to draw, print, act out, create and many other forms of artistic medium. With these supplies the possibilities are really limitless!
Please help us not only keep art alive in the classroom, but allow it, and my students to thrive.
Having all of these materials will give my students the chance to show what they know in unique ways. Art is important and I would love to be able to have my students learn in a fun, new, and exciting way!
