This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am blessed to teach 16 second grade gifted students who are in the EFL program (Extended Foreign Language), in a neighborhood school in an urban part of Florida.

My students have a wide variety of learning needs and challenges.

My students are eager to learn. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They like to move, they love to read and love lots of positive attention.

The Cricut materials will allow my students to create magnets, pillows for our reading center, and so much more! The materials will permit my students to design and customize their own crafts. This amazing equipment will allow my students' imaginations to have no limit.
