My Students
My students are quite an interesting bunch. They're funny, fearless, and ferocious. They work hard and work together. These students are full of creativity and wonderful ideas, but they need to be given the opportunity to present their voices and interests in the classroom.
We strive to grow as readers, writers, and communicators.
Many of these students are brilliant storytellers, but just need to develop that ability in their writing.
My Project
In order to build stronger relationships with students across grade levels and subjects, our school plans a Mentorship Day. This day allows teachers to share their interests, hobbies, and passions with students whether or not it pertains to the curriculum.
This project allows me to teach students the joy of being creative and expressive through painting, drawing, calligraphy, and stained glass.
Our students have inventive imaginations and ideas. Allowing them to put those creations into an artistic platform will not only let them express their personalities but help us learn more about each other through art!
