Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The main goal is to have students love learning. To have them want to explore and continue to grow their knowledge. The biggest challenge is involving students in projects that involve glue, paint, and other wet substances due to needing the space to let it dry.
My little ones are Kinder students, most of whom will be experiencing school for the first time.
Their ages all vary between 4 and 6. Our school is K-8 and a Title 1 school. Here, students are fully motivated, willing to work hard and achieve all of their goals. The children come into school excited and ready to learn. If we keep them motivated and intrigued about learning, while also combining it with fun, our students will go on to be successful in a large amount of endeavors.
My Project
Students will use the drying rack to get involved in more activities in which they can practice their cutting, gluing, and painting. Students will be able to put their work to dry without having it take up valuable space at their desks, allowing them to continue on to another lesson.
With the paint and glue cups an daprons students will be able to use their easels and create imaginative paintings and other artwork to show what they are learning in an innovative way.
Donations will greatly improve our classroom because students will be able to be more involved in creative activities.
Students lives will be better because their desks wont be taken up by projects trying to dry. the paint cups will keep their paint fresh for a longer amount of time and the glue bottles will allow students to use white glue to hold their projects rather than simply glue sticks.
