My Students

Our school provides a safe and nurturing space for a culturally, linguistically, and socioeconomically diverse population of students. Every day our students and staff engage in a dialogue about being responsible, respectful, and safe. These are the guiding values in our community of learners.

At our school technology is integrated into the classroom to enhance instruction, engagement, and learning for each and every student.

My students are team-oriented and view learning as a continued chance for growth.

My Project

My primary class is in great need of a large rug where we can comfortably meet for whole group instructions. This is where my students would meet for daily phonics, writing, phonemic awareness, and math lessons. We could also use a kidney-shaped table for small group instruction. This would enable me to work closely with a small group of students for intervention and conferencing.

A large area rug and kidney-shaped table are both vital in whole and small group instruction.

My students will positively benefit from these additions for years to come!
