Help me give my students flexible seat options to maximize their learning. I’m hoping these new seat options will help kids access their classroom in a modern, new way.
San Bruno is a diverse community of students and families that have a long tradition of commitment to education. Recently El Crystal closed and several school communities, came together to embrace this blending of students. Our students are eager to learn, motivated, and all very capable. El Crystals vision of STEM for all students is truly influential in my vision to extend these learning opportunities in my classroom now at our school. Children are curious, clever, and imaginative. We have so many options these days in how to stimulate our students and maintain their individual curiosities.
My Project
Flexible seating helps young kids focus and relax it’s also a great way to curl up with a good book! Small children need options as they can often be wiggly squiggly. As a kindergarten teacher their first classroom experiences are crucial for lifelong academic success. For 11 years I’ve tried to make every one of my classrooms warm and welcoming and colorful. Every student needs to feel safe in their home away from home in order to reach their highest potential. Help me, help them by giving them choice and comfort.
