My Fantastic First Graders come from all different walks of life. Students come from a diverse background, but what they all have in common is that they want to learn and love school. Students want to be comfortable while they are working and learning. We will be spending a lot of time building relationships and a positive environment so the students can grow and learn.
I am at a Title 1 School where I have students who are dying to learn new things.
I have a lot of parent involvement, which is definitely helpful. I have students that fall into just about every category you can think of. I have high achievers, constant movers, all races, and the students who need a lot of love.
My Project
I am looking to make each table different inside my classroom, starting with different types of seats. Getting yoga balls to sit on at another table for my bouncy thinkers, there will be a place for everyone to learn that best fits them. I've explored and researched many different types of ways for my hyper active students, students who need to be calmed down, and my set still learners to sit and take the information we are learning and put it to use. I want to make a classroom that is learner friendly for all students that come through my door.
My project will help all of my students be comfortable while learning!
