Getting Comfy and Cozy in the Classroom

My Project

The materials I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. However, we need your help in getting everything through our door! The large table will be placed in the middle of my classroom and be used as a gathering place for small-group learning. Around this table will be a couple of the flex-seating choices I am requesting for my classroom. The captain chairs will be placed in my Reading Corner on my Holstein rug. Our school mascot is the Holsteins, and I want to create a classroom centered around that. The Reading Corner will instill a love for reading with a fantastic selection of books surrounding the area on the bookshelves I am requesting. I will also use this space as a gathering place for my students during morning meetings and my mini-lessons. The Surf Desks are another option for my kids instead of their desks. It allows them to work around the room in a Good Fit spot. Finally, the high-top table and stools will be used for a STEM/Art station I want to put in my classroom for Early and Advanced finishers.
