Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the past two years, I have seen my students face many challenges and do everything to try and overcome them. It's been hard to watch them feel uncomfortable and rediscover their place in the classroom. My job is to help students feel safe, comfortable, and then help them learn.

My hope is to provide flexible seating for reading and writing, and diverse, interesting books for my students to help them reconnect with school and classmates.

My students are incredible and deserving of love and comfort, especially after everything with the pandemic!
