Help me give my students sturdy, dependable backpacks, stress relief balls, and everyday snacks so they can continue to work successfully at home while we are away from school.
I teach second grade in an inner city school to the most amazing groups of students. Although we are unable to physically be in the same classroom every day, they are working very hard to continue learning.
With this said, many are without the basic materials needed to successfully complete the remote learning units that have been created for them.
They miss school very much and are working their hardest at home with what they have, but it isn’t enough.
My Project
These materials will enable my students to continue working successfully from home. Most of them do not have sturdy backpacks that they can use to store school supplies.
I am going to be dropping off care packages to all my students and these backpacks will be filled with school supplies that are in great demand.
Without the necessary supplies, my students will not be able to successfully access and complete the remote unit lessons and activities.
My students will be so very excited to receive these necessary school supplies! Thank you in advance.
