Getting a Grip on First Graders Hi-Write Action Writing!
Help me give my students 6 packages of Abilitations Hi-Write Beginner Paper: Level 2, Warmtaste New Design Ergonomic Training Children Pencil Holder Pen Writing Aid Grip Posture Correction Tool, and The Pencil Grip Mini Pencil Grips.
Developing a love of learning by interactive involvement is a goal that all six of our first-grade teachers share. Our 120 students have developed a strong sense of community in our 1st-grade classrooms. Celebrating our interest in reading, writing, math, and science is evidenced in the many activities we participate in. that enable our classes to recognize the importance of experiencing hands-on activities.
Creating partner interactive learning by using necessary hands-on manipulatives that allow students to work to their ability.
Engaging students in all avenues of learning are met by having these materials available.
Having fun creating learning experiences that are conducive to each student's individual needs through physical, fine and or gross motor skill development is a focus of our grade-level.
Uniqueness is a quality all people have and how we teach children to share and celebrate others learning and engagement within our classrooms allow our students to embrace the excitement of sharing and enhancing their academic learning experiences.
Our students have a love of learning and work hard every day to create their own learning story as well as enjoy the experiences these eager, enthusiastic and inquisitive first graders are sharing with classmates and families.
My Project
Having Hi Writing leveled paper and pencil grips will allow all of our students to develop good pencil structure and printing skills.
Focusing on each child's special handwriting needs allows us to provide proper fine and gross motor skill practice by utilizing these decorative pencil grips and raised line bright paper to help our students focus on their individual abilities.
Allowing students to engage in their writing by utilizing these additional materials to benefit their learning is a must for all of our first-grade students. Whether a child has a physical need or a student needs gross and fine motor development practice these materials will benefit all of our students.
