Help me give my students a reliable charging station for our classroom laptops. A Chromebook charging cart will keep our technology safe and ready to use.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are terrific young people trying to make their best lives in rural Alabama. Our school serves K-12 students from Thomaston, Alabama, and the surrounding area. ALJ is a Title I school due to the intense poverty here. All our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch.
In the current technological world, computers are a necessary part of science learning.
A classroom set of laptops will help us to research any science concept.
Laptops will enrich their lives and their learning. Please consider funding our need!
My Project
A Chromebook cart is needed for our classroom so that our laptops can remain charged and ready for work! Technology is a vital tool in today's competitive work and learning environment. Workers and college students that are not fluent in tech usage are at a distinct disadvantage. I want my pupils to be prepared.
Students are naturals for learning through technology.
While old fashioned pencil and paper will always have a place, young people are more engaged if tech tools are involved.
The more tech tools can be used and enjoyed in the classroom, the better. Please consider funding our need!
