My Students

My students are an energetic bunch of seven and eight-year-olds that attend a neighborhood school within the city of Anderson. They need ways to exude energy in the classroom. The best way to do this is through flexible seating options. Wobble stools are a great way for students to move, but not disrupt the learning of others.

My class consists of twenty-five, hard working students that are eager to learn, but need to be able to release energy in a disruptive way.

We take lots of brain breaks, but some children need to "wiggle wobble" more often in order to do their best learning. My students like to move around in the classroom and change seats often.

My goal is for my students to be able to move into the classroom and keep their brains energized for learning. I love the ideas my students come up with when they are alert and ready to learn.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to release built up energy in a way that is not disruptive to others. This will allow their brains to be focused each day and ready to learn.

I am requesting four wobble stools to be used in our second-grade classroom.

Students will share their stools as part of our flexible seating options. Having the wobble stools will keep students alert and their brains focused and ready to learn.

Releasing energy and staying focused will allow students to learn more and reach academic goals in the classroom. These stools will not only benefit my students this year, but also in the years to come.
