My Students

My students come from a small, diverse community and like many educators today, I am in competition with video games and many other outside factors. My goal is to motivate students to “want to come to school” and be excited about learning as much as I am about teaching them! My students deserve to have an educator who is inspired and rises to the challenge of bringing new adventures, techniques, and learning strategies into the classroom to meet their needs.

My Project

I am requesting the opportunity to attend a conference where I can continue my growth as teacher! As an educator, I realize that I am constantly needing to learn and implement new and innovative strategies to motivate and grow my students. Attending the “Get Your Teach On” conference will allow me to do just that! Participating in this experience will not only help me as an educator but will reflect positively on the students I teach. I will be able to experience hands-on learning from inspirational, motivational, and successful educators from across the country and have the opportunity to bring their ideas with my own to add to my classroom.
