My Students

The kickball captain, the diligent reader, the video gamer, the silent hand raiser, the helper, the fastest runner in the class, the artist, the technology guru. Each student brings a unique and wonderful presence to our classroom.

We like to learn, we like to play and we work hard all day long.

The students in my class are bright, creative and mindful in everything they do. We are constantly learning about ourselves and what kind of environment helps us work best.

My Project

Get Your Teach On is an exciting, upbeat conference that aims to inspire teachers everywhere. I have always felt like learning and school should be fun! The people leading the conference have the same philosophy.

I would be able to expose my students to interesting topics, like financial literacy, in a fun and engaging way.

Learning how to use money is first introduced in second grade. Teachers will receive helpful manipulatives when attending this conference. I will gain tools and wisdom on how to make learning come alive for my students. I am sure the knowledge I gain will be extremely influential on my teaching career.
