I work in a Title 1 school where 60% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of them face challenges both in and out of school.
I am lucky to be teaching 35 amazing Kindergarteners.
Kindergarteners are special little humans. I love being able to teach them and watch them learn and grow. For many of my students, Kindergarten is their first experience with school. My goal is to provide them with the best, first experience with school!
My Project
My kindergarten classroom is filled with the most unique and wonderful students. My students come equipped with magnificent minds, determination to learn, and the ability to think deeper. To insure their success, my classroom has become a place of challenge, discovery, and comfort. Students spend their year learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need to continue to grow and have success in advanced grades.
Flexible seating would allow my students to have comfort, structured movement, and would bring in community style learning.
Help me provide the right seating for all my students. Flexible seating has proven to be beneficial, and I hope for the chance to implement it for my students.
