Help me give my students a Teacher's Pay Teachers gift card, chart paper, and markers, so I can craft lessons in my Google Classroom to fit my students' needs while giving them visuals to learn by.
Since my school closed in March, my students have participated in Zoom meetings two times per week, from their home. We use these online meetings to go over materials we have sent home to strengthen our connection with our students online. My students live in rural areas, where internet connection has been an issue. We are listed as a Title I School, and many students receive free lunch weekly.
My Project
As our school closed, my students were really zooming in on multi-syllabic words, fractions, and states of matter. My students love to learn visually, and these materials will help me get the most out of their online experience. While I can't be in the classroom with them, I want to give them a true classroom experience at home. The chart paper and markers will help me with my struggling students. The gift card will help me with implementing distance learning lessons to my students while they are at home. I can send home Google Distance Learning Lessons with the TPT gift card, to use in conjunction with our Google Classroom. This will ensure students are engaged in the work I am sending and can communicate their ideas.
Many students in my class are below-level in math and reading.
I want to give them as much exposure to the learning experience in a classroom as possible. I want them to be able to use distance learning to excel in math and reading. I tell my students, "we are still together" and that the classroom spirit must go on! I feel these materials will help my students "see" the big picture in my lessons!
