My Students

My students are bright, friendly and hardworking. They have worked hard to be selected to attend this urban, very large selective enrollment high school. Many aspire to become pharmacists, astrobiologists, planetary scientists, scientists and physicians. 100% of our school's student population receives a free or reduced lunch.

Although a good majority of our students come from families of very modest means, I believe access to supplemental educational resources should not be a prerequisite for pursuing your passions and shooting for the stars!

My Project

I want all my students to remain focused during class as they learn more about the subjects AP Chemistry and Astrochemistry/ Astrobiology. When their cellphones are out, my students get easily distracted for the tasks at hand.

Therefore, my students need a secure place where they can safely store and recharge their cellphones while they focus on learning all about AP chemistry and Honors Astrochemistry/ Astrobiology.

In addition, we need this iPad Mini Charging Station Locker to safely store our ebooks, multi-media and other educational digital media between classes. Thank you so much for helping my students stay on task.
