Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Determined, enthusiastic, and hardworking are just some of the words I would use to describe my students! These students want to be in school, learn, and excel to become productive members of our school and our society! They have a zest for life even though some of them have daily struggles that are not mainstream for an average first grader. They come to school with a smile on their face and ready to work every day.

It is my job to help them realize their potential and facilitate them in soaring to new heights.

It is my job to help them grow into better students, humans, friends, siblings, and children.

My students are fun loving, tackling every day head on. Coming to school ready, willing, and able to learn and excel in all aspects of life. They learn hard, and they love hard. The students at our school are hands down my favorite part about my job. They truly are my inspiration.

My Project

These students will make a huge impact on my students learning. Chromebook computers will allow the students access to resources in reading, science, math, and other subjects that they do not have now. They will allow the students to embrace their current and future education as 21st century learners!

The students will have access to virtual libraries.

This means the ability to read more books than they ever have before! They will have access to virtual science experiments and field trips. We will be able to practice our math facts through engaging games and activities! These Chromebook computers will also help the students practice 21st century skills such as coding, typing, and excel!
