Our school is very unique among the Title I schools in our area. We have a large Marshallese population which provides special cultural, language, and economic challenges.
Our students need help connecting with material and I would like to get them excited about science!
Our students are very well behaved and desperate need more resources to ignite their imaginations. My goal is to explore every avenue to try and create an atmosphere that works towards this.
Thank you for your time.
By being able to actually see the different structures of organisms, my students will be able to better understand the adaptations they have, the role that they play in the environment, and hopefully become more excited about science and learning.
By having these specimens they will not only help my students this year, but for every year to come.
Requested collections include an Animal Survey, Bat in Gall, Butterflies, Sea Life, Lifecycle of a Frog, Moths'M' Butterfly, and Real Insects. These materials will be used for different learning centers and lesson activities.
My goal is to create a legacy at this school that will last long after I am gone and will inspire those that pass through our halls to reach for the stars. I am very blessed to do what I love.
