My Project
Hi all!! I am a High School English teacher dedicated to the success of all my scholars in every capacity of their lives. So, when one of my students expressed that he has a passion for cutting hair and barbering, I wanted to encourage his passions. As we talked, he decided he wanted to start and lead a barbering club. However, I couldn't stop him there. Since I am also a licensed cosmetologist, and many other students expressed interest in different aspects of the field, we decided to include it all!
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement by giving them insight into their future endeavors.
But, in order to run a successful starter cosmetology club we need tools for hair styling, like clippers, sheers, combs, chairs, lighting, spray and practice mannequins. In addition to styling tools, we will need cleaning supplies and storage containers to maintain our tools. The students are so excited to begin exploring their passion, and just maybe this club will be their first step into a promising future.
