My Students

My students are just starting their middle school career, and I want to make sure they do not lose interest in mathematics. They are truly an inspiration to me, and I want to keep pushing them to do their best work! My classroom prides itself in the relationships we build and the family we create. From journaling to "Lunch Bunch" to board games and movie nights, we are determined to have fun and stick together through it all! West is best!

My Project

I have multiple students, in general education as well as special education, that struggle with sitting still to stay focused on their learning. Flexible seating has helped drastically reduce the amount distractive behaviors happening within the classroom, and it has helped students be more successful in their learning. However, my kiddos have limited options and accessiblity due to the expense of these items. I can only afford to purchase so many items with my own money. If this project gets funded I will be able to provide my kiddos with many different options for seating, including stability balls, bouncy bands, and a Hokki stool, as well as be able to reach more kids at one time. Please consider helping my kiddos be able to focus better in class!
