This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend a communication and technology magnet school and are eager to learn. We are a Title l campus and some students are not able to come with the materials they need. Many students commute across town and love coming to school. It's not their fault that some of them are not prepared with materials.

My students want to do their best and love learning!

They love new topics and want more knowledge every day. We just need a little help.

My Project

We are requesting clear book pouches to take their things to and from school. These clear folders are what we use in my class instead of backpacks. I do not send much home and what I do sent can fit in this clear folder. It is easier for my students to carry and remember. Since it is clear, they can easily see what is in there.

It is very helpful with important notes and homework that goes home.

I have been using them for three years now and my team has followed me in using them. There is less clutter in the classrooms and takes up less space. The parents are thankful for them as well.
