My Project

Technology is wonderful for so many things. However, after the last few years, we all need a break from screens.

There is a fundamental difference between reading music on an iPad, and reading it from paper, where you have to physically follow along and turn pages.

We are requesting paper and folders. Groups can keep each other accountable when they can share the same paper, touch the same words on that paper, and pass that one paper back and forth. There is greater learning when the students draw out their own set design, rather than use a program to do it for them. And there is my responsibility, as their teacher, to limit screen time wherever possible.
