Teachers can no longer send home a worksheet and expect students not to just Google the answers. Work needs a twist if it is going to stay relevant in the digital age. My 6th grade students are energetic, inquisitive, and bright. The work I give them needs to challenge them on every level.
My district works very hard to enhance student learning, but we are not yet a school that has 1:1 technology .
My group of students must share access to two coding robots due to the budget constrains in my school. These coding robots may not be taken home and my students have limited access to this exciting technology. Many of my students come from hard working homes where the parents do not have money left over for extra things such as books and the latest technology, yet these are the very things that my students need to ignite the passion for learning.
My Project
Robotics programs allow students to understand how things work. My students can develop their problem solving skills by using Botley coding robots in the classroom. My students will enjoy using their imaginations as they teach their robot to perform actions. My students can make the robots move around on the floor or even enhance reading skills by using the robots to tell a story. The children's creativity would be enhanced by these wonderful kits!
Botley coding robots facilitate science and math learning inside the classroom.
The use of a robotic programs in education is gaining popularity since it allows children to have fun while they develop numerous STEM skills. Botley coding robots are a fun and engaging way to bring STEM learning to my students!
