My Students

My students are an extension of me. They are growing and learning in the same small, tight knit, school community that inspired me to be a teacher. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.

My students are inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't yet know it.

They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career. I feel that children are the most important people in our world. I focus my activities in the local community on helping children achieve their fullest potential by supporting their learning and development. I hope that you will support my amazing students by helping my purchase wobble chairs. Thank you for your consideration.

My Project

The key objectives are to open the classrooms up to more flexible seating option for our students. Flexible seating has been researched and it has been found to increase student engagement and motivation within the classroom. Our wish is to create a learning environment tailored to the learners, not classroom design from 30-50 years ago where each child has a desk and table. Wobble Chairs are extremely conducive to learning. Some students would rather stand, kneel or swivel to do their work, this helps students that like to be able to move and it is great for productivity. Some children (especially children with special needs) will have their vestibular and tactile needs met. New furniture will also excite the students and peek their interest in learning.
