This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school encourages students to "shine like the stars that they are"!
Our classroom provides exceptional services to multiple grades and abilities.
We have primarily enthusiastic boys in our class this year who love learning and moving simultaneously.
We are working toward goals such as improvements in communication, socializing, managing emotions, following multi-step directions and establishing foundational independence skills.
Our dynamic star students desire various learning activities to finish strong and shine brighter than ever before!
Thank you for your help!
My Project
I have a small class but with such big personalities, it feels more like a class of 20 than seven!
I want to teach them the required concepts but I need items that are tangible and interactive to do so.
Hands-on is the ONLY way to keep my students' minds occupied and centered. They may have their own individual abilities, but they ALL are capable of learning with the proper tools!
In Part 1 of this project, I am asking for interactive puzzles and file folder games. In Part 2, I am asking for large storage bins and two rolling drawer carts to put them in when they are not in use. I want to teach my students to have fun while learning but also learn how to put away items and keep them in good condition until the next time.
