Some students are tactile, some are visual and others are kinesthetic learners. One thing that they all have in common is that they are always eager to learn new things.
Most of my students need a hands-on approach to improve their learning.
My students are eager to learn new things and need constant practice and reinforcement. They come from different ethnic backgrounds. Some live in the neighborhood, while others travel from various areas. My school does not receive additional funding for the many supplies that we need.
My Project
Basic supplies are not always so basic. They are essential for learning and keeping organized. Organization is the key to success. My students need basic supplies so they are equipped for the days activities. The folders will keep their math and ELA papers organized. The pens, pencils and markers will give my students writing tools for their ELA and math work. They are always losing their writing utensils so if I can supply them with these they can continue with their work. The magnetic bins will keep their markers organized. When students have the necessary tools they have a better chance of academic success.
