This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are unable to do many research projects because of the school's outdated technology. The students are not allowed to check out the technology that we do have to use at home.
I have 85 very hardworking and eager to learn seventh graders.
They do not let their poverty or environment interfere with their desire to learn. They attend a Title I school here in the Delta and many of them have not been out of the Delta. They do have a hunger to learn and they especially love the experiments and presentations that we do in the science lab.
My Project
The Apple iPad mini will allow my students do to research on germs and their relationship to illness. The students will do virtual reality labs on germs and ways that we can prevent them from entering our body. The students will compare and contrast germs and viruses and be able to explain the differences between the two.
You donation of this Apple iPad mini will help my students to compete in today's society with updated technology.
They will be able to research the cause and effects of germs and viruses.
They will give solutions to preventing the spread of germs and viruses.
