Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Yuck! Germs are everywhere! Although some germs are good, we still want our classroom to be relatively germ free so our attendance will go up.
I am a first grade teacher in a low economic community.
We may not have much financially, but we are rich in academics. We work hard everyday to meet grade level standards as well as our own personal goals. I feel with the right motivation and resources, our students will succeed!
My Project
I am requesting disinfectant spray, wipes, and soap to kill germs and help prevent the spread of colds during this flu season. I am also requesting a push vacuum so our classroom carpet will be neat and tidy. I feel having a clean classroom will help improve my students' academics since they will be less likely to miss school due to being sick. I will use the materials to wipe down student desks and computers every week, and I will use the spray to spray everyday before and after school. The soap will be used daily.
I feel with a cleaner classroom, my students will be less likely to pass on their germs and therefore attendance will rise.
A rise in attendance usually results in a rise in academics!
