My Project

Wintertime in Milwaukee is brutal for skin and colds. Stocking my classroom with supplies to sanitize and moisturize students is necessary but expensive.

Avoiding extremely chapped lips and skin along with keeping the classroom as clean as possible creates a classroom environment where my students don’t have to worry about the daily aches and pains that winter brings.

Students are always thankful to have soft tissue for their noses, lotion and chapstick for dry lips and skin, and basic cleaning supplies to keep desks and hands germ free. Without these basic supplies precious time is taken away from learning to focus on addressing a health need and trying to find it in another teacher’s classroom.

These supplies will ensure that my students are able to make it through winter in a clean classroom with pain free skin.
