This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have a wonderful group of students who are always excited about responsibility and learning. My students love to describe and talk about what we are doing in our classroom.
Our school is preparing our students to become lifelong learners.
These first years are important years of learning and growing into lifelong learners. We are building the foundation of learning for the students to use in and out the classroom. Our school is a great community of families, educators and professionals. In our school 35% of the students qualify for Special Education.
My Project
Help me give my students a variety of snacks, cheez-it crackers, juice and water to keep them energized throughout the day also clorox wipes to keep our classroom germ free! My students are in need of snacks such as crackers and cookies to eat during class. Often times, many students come to my class hungry. Whether they are running late or forget to eat breakfast, I want to be able to provide my students with a 'Hungry Snack' if needed. Hunger can become a huge hindrance to their learning and academic success!
When students are hungry, it is difficult for them to concentrate and learn during class.
Being hungry can distract you from learning and proper brain development. I am requesting snacks like Snack Box Pros Healthy Snack Mix,crackers, Welch's Fruit Snacks, Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Straws Chips and other snack items. Many of my students rely on school for the majority of their meals. The snacks I provide may be the last meal they before breakfast at school the next day.
